Good to hear bro! I don't know what your diet is right now, so no I don't have any ideas! lol If you're in the gym a long time, I'd go for higher carbs, especially if you are strictly looking to gain weight. Just get foods high in good carbs, and good sources of protein and lower fat content. If you wanna snack, snack good like fruit or veggies..for me its been power bars and gainer shakes and Naked Juice. <---this stuff is great! A bottle has so much good shit in it man, its spendy but tasty and amazing. But don't get the Naked Protein one, that one sucks.

Is it just personal preference to workout legs twice a week?

Legs make up half of your body. If you want to force your upper body to really make great gains then you should hit your legs really really heavy which means splitting your leg workout over two days. Of course doing this will make your legs grow as well.

True, I do a 3 day split type workout, compound exercises mostly in the 10x10 range...doesn't leave alot of room or energy left over for 2 leg workouts lol

your lifts are still real good just different results. you are getting more muscular endurance than i am thats why i only lift like this 8-10 weeks then do like 60-70% of my normal weight for higher reps to help keep up my muscle stamina. i found that lifting heavy low reps for a long period of time gets you strong as hell but you lose serious endurance so i found this balance works pretty good.

on my sundays i do cardio then a pull up/bench rouine. wide pull up to failure usually 13-15 then superset with flat bench 135x25 and i do that 3 times. then neutral grip pull ups same deal and incline bench 135x15ish do that 3 times then vbar pull ups same deal and decline bench 135x25 again 3 times then chin ups and either close grip bench or reverse grip bench 135x15. gets the sickest pump!
