Ford has the same exact bumper steps as Chevy now.

I am kinda interested to see what a shell looks like on a 4th gen. The cab spoiler doesn't look removable, which might make for a funky-looking shell situation.

No they don't. Ford's are on the side while GM's are in the corner.

TFL was estimating $57k for TRD Pro and Trailhunter based on GM and Ford.

The explanation I heard is that Trailhunter is geared toward rock crawling while TRD Pro was geared more toward desert running.

i-Force Max Hybrid powertrain models have a 9.5" rear axle to handle the power. All other models will come with the 8.5" rear axle. :notsure:

BSM sensor is still located above the bumper and below the taillights. :frusty:

both have them in the bumper is what i meant. Pretty dang similar to the point that I bet any manufacturer could use them now.

Edit: and both Chevy and ford have the side steps now. I’m not sure if those would be as useful as the bumper ones though.

Limited is the first mid-size with power folding steps.

The Chief Engineer said the chin spoiler is meant to be removable for trail use.

They also beefed up the front bumper part. Same wheelwell but behind front bumper. That part looks like it's gusseted.

Trailhunter and Pro come with high-lift jack points in the rear next to the tow points.

Chief Engineer said no plastic cover over the engine. :pout:

I'll admit I didn't see those ones. I saw the ones on the new Ranger.

The i-Force Max Hybrid models (1.8 kw Nimh battery) have an additional 2400 watt plug located on the inside behind the center console.

Trailhunter mid-skids are composite material. It also features a metal rear diff skid.
