So my work has a recognition program where you can turn in points peers give you for job well done into things like gift cards

Just cashed out and ordered $1000 in bass pro shops gift cards. About to go do some shopping Monday while my lift gets installed.

Torn really want a Vp9 tactical but also want to join the 1cm gang. Could get a Vp9 tactical or a Glock 10mm plus maybe a 10-22 takedown.

    Decisions decisions

    SMART MAN!

We have a very similar program at work, I had been saving my points for plane tickets on our next vacation but didn't even consider gift cards. Right now I can get $500 to Cabelas or Bass Pro. Now that I know that I'll keep stacking points and get myself another gun at some point!

    Thanks for the hot tip!

Y’all are lucky! My rewards program gives you a pair of oversized (too long and I’m 6’4) socks or an umbrella…

Lemme guess they’re company branded too?

my wife’s old job had a program like yours where the “rewards” were just company branded junk like coffee mugs and sweaters. Was basically the leftover swag from career fairs.

Ha! I wasn't super excited about it at first then I saw gift cards then realized Bass Pro was in there.

I've got a weird role and assist management and other adjusters a lot so points rack up quick.
It started last year before it was just a pat on the back kinda thing so this is nice except going to hit me at 22%+ tax on the value which sucks

Un related but this is taking away from pew money hence needing gift cards to afford pew

275/70-17 was super torn on going 285 since no longer a daily driver with work from home, but ultimately the weight difference and no CMC needed was the deciding factor. 3lb difference in these from my 265s but the 285s were almost 10lbs more each

I just placed my order at OpticsPlanet for this Primary Arms Plx-1-8x24mm FFP.

It's on backorder everywhere so I'll be waiting for... I dunno how long.

well played. I try to keep at least 1,000 rounds of every caliber I shoot in reserve for if times get hard. Anything more than that is fair game to take to the range.

I like PPU for bulk ammo stocking up since it is good quality, low price and available.

The GGG M193 & M80 was a stocking up killer deal on bulk ammo. But they are Lithuania's version of Lake City and going full rate production for military at the moment. No overruns coming out right now.

Bought a GAMO Whisper Fusion Mach 1 22 caliber pellet rifle.

Popped a armadillo last week in my front yard with my suppressed SBR 10/22. Never seen one bleed that much, it left a double blood trail from my driveway across the street into the woods. Was a thru and thru shot.

This was around 3AM. Needless to say rinsing my drive and the street didn't touch the blood trail, while doing that I saw it didn't make it into the woods and was laying in the ditch. So then I had to get my shovel and carry it into the woods for the buzzards.

After all this I remembered my neighbor put in security cameras. I know I wasn't on tape shooting it, but everything else was.

Since they changed the laws in FL about discharging a firearm in city limits, I was a bit paranoid. Now if by chance I ever got caught, I'd just tell the law I popped it with a pellet rifle. May still get a slap on the wrist, but no worries about shooting a firearm in city limits.

    These things are most powerful!

Your neighbor might appreciate you taking that armadillo out. The holes they dig cause a lot of damage to people's yards. My neighbor shoots them all the time with his .380, never bothers anyone in the neighborhood.
