Creaking noise with lift

Ive had my fat bobs lift on for about two weeks and I noticed there's some sqeaking/creaking noise coming from the rear. Is ghat normal? I had a shop put it on so I'm assuming it was done right.

 

i haven't noticed anything like that after installing mine myself.

 

iv noticed it and i only have a small spacer lift with an add a leaf. it makes the creaking sound when ever i go over a low area of ground to a higher area and it causes the rear end to take more pressure on one side than the other. is that the same thing your experiencing?

 

I just hear it when I drive slow. It's kinda hard to explain.

 

yea i know what your talking about. i think if you spray some sort of graphite or lubricant in there you might be able to muff the sound a little. Ill try to figure it out and let you know.

Not being a dick, but thats just part of having a lifted truck man. You modified stock suspension with aftermarket parts its bound to happen.

Take a ride in a LT truck, no matter how well greased it is there's all sorts of awesome squeaks, creaks, and rattles.

Just turn up the stereo and youll forget all about it

 

Lol I know I didn't even notice it until m dad drove it for the first time, he must have turned the radio down

But ya it doesn't bother me I was just seeing if it was normal.

 

It's your AAL squeaking. On built leaf packs there are pads (teflon) that are between the leaves which keep them from squeaking. When you put on an AAL, they don't always come with pads so they sometimes squeak. Someone on here had a solution where they used gorilla glue to glue some rubber squares cut from bicycle inner tubes on the AAL.
