Found this little switch plate. Thought it was cool.

Any of you mess with open G? Been playing a lot of it since it has gotten warm. Slide is handy with it.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Hells yeah bro, I used to beat on a set when I played in a band! Rock on brutha!

As for cymbals, buy once and get it over with. Seriously. It makes a world of difference as you can imagine. I'm a huge fan of Saluda custom cymbals. Skip Zildjan K's/A's and get something completely custom. It'll open an entire new wave of creativity and passion for you.

On that note, cymbals are the one let down on the electric kit for me. The drum heads on the Roland kit I have a great response and very realistic feel to them. On the cymbals, they sound good, and mine have the realistic targeted zones and all that (for any non-drummer- sound changes depending on where you hit the cymbal; this is missing from many lower end kits), but the feel of hitting a big rubber pad just can't match the feel of hitting a real cymbal.

Yup, agree on the cymbals...i have 2 cy8's and a cy12. Lacking and a bit left wanting with them, but its my secondary instrument so...the mesh head rolands are truly nice however. I run the TD-8 brain

Well... taking an unplanned break from playing for a while... working in the garage; had a flag nut that wasn't catching (spinning freely), put a wrench on one end, impact on the other; wrench slipped, and flag nut went through my hand like a blender blade.

I'm still somehow blaming this on the tele curse though, lol.

Rangemaster clone aka treble booster like what's used on Black Sabbath.
