They can cruise at 55mph, would have to fill up gas about 9 times which would be the time suck. Could jerry rig external fuel on the rear rack.

If you go to the Iron Butt Association website you can view a list of riders, rides completed, and bikes. If I get time later I'll try to check it out.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
About to head out on some FSR and a few twisties today. GF is making soap so I got time to burn.

If anyone ever wants some killer soap, my gf makes some top shelf shit!
Some even glows in the dark ;) for those midnight encounters!

If interested let me know yo! We can hook up the TW peeps.

My Betty and I at the Distinguished gentleman's ride. It was a great day, perfect weather, sunny and low 70s.

I found this awesome old custom painted Bell Star 120 helmet at an estate sale. The inside is dated 1970

Nice find! I have a few vintage 3/4 helmets I’ve collected over the years. I used to reline some of them with new foam and fabric. After taking a few pebbles to the face while riding, I decided they make better garage art than brain buckets.

I really need to keep this in mind for next year. My vintage Honda would be the perfect ride for it. I know they do have a group in York so it's not even that far for me.

True your Honda would be perfect, they're generally short rides as well. There was a nice variety of bikes I think every category was represented. You'll recognize the mural in second pic

They're supoosed to be 25 miles and under 40 MPH. Both of those get stretched a bit, I believe. Varies quite a bit by locale.

We had perfect weather. 168 bikes registered, and the weather brought some crashers. Really great day.

here you see a couple Thruxton's and a Paningale, they're pretty liberal on the bikes, moreso every year.

My friends behind me there won 'most dapper couple'. fun day!
