    It does. ECT is limited to throttle and shift points. So there are some parts that are unchanged from Toyotas brain.

    Interesting. So does that mean using the ECT button we revert back to stock tune with just new KDMAX shift points or does ECT still use the all the refinements of the KDMAX tune but only changes throttle/shift points?

    Yes, it does use the tune and the different shift points+throttle. But I do know that there are some things that we cannot access.

    Dude, when kdmax 6.0 came out there were no other tunes.

    There was no OTT available. Nexus was making baby steps.
    Valley runner was next to KDMAX 6.0 as far as overall performance.

    John was in my area visiting family and stopped by with his 2022 Tacoma for a tune. He wanted a more responsive throttle and better shifting, and the KDMax tune was able to provide that for him!     Mike trusted ADK Tuners with his beast of a 2020 Tacoma. Lifted 3", riding on 33" tires, and wrapped in an awesome midnight purple color changing vinyl, he wanted me to help with the poor throttle response and acceleration, as well as the gear hunting on the highway.     PapaRee asked me to leave a review after uploading the 4.88 tune on my truck so here it is. Im running the Lite throttle Pro 9 tune and am very happy with the performance and responsiveness of the truck. I did reset learned values due to the new tune and gears so i have been driving around for about 500+ around town for the computer to relearn.

    The picture below is traveling 99% interstate going 65-75 mph with and elevation change of +800' Atlanta Ga to +150' Montgomery AL (-650') so mostly down hill over the course of the trip. For perspective i was able to do the same stretch but i had to draft a semi to get this type of mileage.

    On the return trip it dropped down to 20.5 but this was a mix of drafting a semi for maybe 1/2 the time and open road the other 1/2 (70mph average)

    specs of the truck are listed below + prinsu rack which does ding you a few MPG at highway speeds. Thumbs up on the tune, it seems to have the right mix of everything.

    The standard KDMax maps do not but I wish they did. It would really help my TC temps on long highway climbs.
