That's true, it definitely can, in concert with suspension, tires, payload etc. Life is full of trade-offs and what you plan on using the truck for. That rear coil setup will be a big factor on that side of things.

Since it's on 33s it's probably about equal to the current Tacoma.

It’s good that the new engine has the canister back as oil filter instead of the one that had to be pulled it from the v6

The TFL video said that the breakover angle was worse due to moving the rear axle further back , they did not say or did not know how much.

So…. As a system we force corporate to design, spec, test, and manufacture the device. Then the consumer promptly pulls it off and it goes straight to a landfill. So the consumer pays twice, once to buy it, and once to trash it. Seems like a lot of lost aspirations in the whole process.

I despair for any sanity in our government these days.

I really hope that if the isodynamic seat is standard, that hopefully in the next model year they make it an option or something. That just really seems unnecessary and over the top for me. Especially if it takes up more room for rear passenger.

Still not sure if I like the shiny black fender flares/grill compared to what it was or on the trail hunter version...anyone know for sure if it will be shiny on the final production truck?

I'm curious if the isodynamic seats help on-road (the roads where I live in PA are horrible).

In one of the videos I watched a Toyota representative said the worries about the turbo are unwarranted. He said the Tacoma engine and turbo combination were built to a commercial duty spec not a consumer spec like most vehicles. I thought that was interesting.

I heard the same interview hopefully this will be the case and we have nothing to worry about. It hasn’t had any problems in the nx nor Highlander so far which is a good sign

Whqt the underground color looks like in direct sunlight...pretty nice and similar to a darker Cement grey color.

I sure hope we'll be able to get the upgraded interior and sound system without a package that includes that hideous, sore thumb of a monitor covering the dashboard. 14 inches! Looks like a crappy after market addon.

I doubt it...not so sure what's so great about the seats, that's why the trd pro has different suspension, that should be good enough.

From what I understand the shiny fenders and hood scoop were just on the pre production trucks, not to be launched into production.
