to be fair, i have tried fishing twice this week, as i'm in between jobs for a week, and have the time to cast a line.

if fishing was my only way to feed myself, i'd be very hungry!

it's sent me down a dark hallway on the internet..

now i'm trying to find a 16-piece wrench set labeled entirely in 1/16" increments. no one makes it, no one offers custom wrench marking either...

it's the one thing snap-on and matco don't make!

Well i finally got fed up enough with needing to solder stuff and having to drag out an extension cord and the soldering station to pick up the M12 soldering iron. First new tool Ive bought in awhile. Going to be nice to just grab a battery and not need to drag cords and crap around.

I have some of the hole dozer in the smaller quantity set. They are much better quality and have better clean out capabilities than others. If I was doing more day to day wood work or construction I would have jumped on a deal like that! What’s great is they store well too.

I would consider them on par with spider from Lowe’s which you can get for a little cheaper on major holidays sales.

that’s great to hear. I’m doing a bunch of mini split installs requiring several sizes of hole saw. This seemed like a good deal even though you can never really trust that msrp price and % off.

i'd recommend the carbide versions if you can swing them. they last a lot longer, and can go through rougher materials like brick with them

Been helping my mom clean out the house & garage this week after my father’s passing. He was a Snap-On dealer for 20ish years and has a 72” triple bank box that I’ll need to empty out and move to my condo. No idea where to put it in my garage, will need to cut my shelves or not park a 2nd vehicle inside. Or I may get a taller/narrower box that fits where I have space and sell the 72”. I guess it’s a good problem to have?

If I see any good deals on Big Hawgs (or comparable brands) during the Memorial Day sales, I will definitely consider it. Thanks!

I found out that my old 12 ton Harbor Freight jack stands are eligible for the recall even though they are not on the government recall list. I brought them in today and got the new and improved model with the added locking pin. Cost me $12 out the door for four 12 ton stands.

Here is the "official" recall on only certain 3 and 6 ton models on Harbor Freight's website: Here is the complete list of all models eligible for refund or store credit "at the customer's discretion":

Not going to deny they are handy to have, but if you use your grease gun on multiple pieces of equipment, that device can be aggravating in some locations. Not enough room to get it in, or even sometimes out. I’d need multiple guns and I’m of the age now a powered gun is more important than the clip on
