    This happened a few days ago off the coast of Oahu in Hawaii , my brother who lives in Oahu sent me the link and also told me about it . There's been many shark attacks on kayak fisherman around the Hawaiian Islands lately

    Yeah thanks! I realized it doesn't matter with all the WSQ from the Corps and being a strong swimmer.....safety took priority for me over the gear. Dude...that video is nuts!! Probably why you won't see me out in the ocean with a kayak! lol. Glad I have a 22ft boat coming in next week!

    Oh yeah ..... Good Ole USMC Swim qualifications !!


    Not sure when you went thru basic training at MCRD Parris Island or San Diego . But in 1981 at MCRD San Diego it was insane !! . Jumping off a platform in fully dressed BDU's and boots and wearing your Alice pack and your M16 rifle then treading water for 15 minutes while simulating fuel and oil fires on the surface of the water . Retrieving your rifle from the deep end of the pool or swimming under water for 50 meters or more

    We did a weekend trip to Virginia the past few days went to Grayson highlands and walked among the pony’s scouted some stream just a trip we threw together on the quick. We stayed at a hipcamp spot and it wasn’t bad I’m just not sure it’s going to be for us in the future. The pictures make it look like your out by yourself when your actually in a strangers yard it’s all about angles.
