Influence of anything. My best friends wife was killed when this stupid bitch ran a stop sign going 60 because she had her face buried in her phone.

 

Fuuuuuck that's fucking horrible.

 

My bestfriend was killed by a drunk driver some 17 years ago, it's why I have such feelings towards people that drive under the influence.

 

I understand that completely, I had a good buddy from high school die at a party cause he was drinking and decided it was a good idea to go for an ATV ride

 

Back in high school, I remember when a group of kids got into a really bad head on accident in the early AM after drinking and the car was full. 3 of them died and two of them were brothers. I didn't know them, but I worked at the local meat market in town then and I remember the father of those two boys would always come in. After that happened, who could just see the life was absolutely sucked out of him every time he came through the door. Shell of a person. It was so awful. I can't even begin to imagine that kind of pain.

Of course the driver of the car lived

 

Similar feelings here. I know someone who got hit by a drunk - car rolled , tore up her shoulder, concussion. Then the driver assaulted her. She will never be the same.

Parts of KC are worse than others, but none of it is all that horrible. Nothing like east St. Louis

 

I drove past East St Louis on my way out from NYS. It looked pretty rough.

 

@Speedytech7 I think there would be a lot of interest in your Mom's 560SL on C&B. Check out this auction from earlier today. The last 15-20 minutes (more that 10 of it was overtime) of bidding was furious. Fun to watch.

Yeah I bet it would have moved no problem on it. They just sold it for 26k to someone in Seattle though. Actually later today I am giving the hardtop over to a shipper
