No use giving up on a garment just because it has a few extra holes thin spots not as fuzzy as it once was has fuzz growing out of places it didn’t before needs more naps than it used to o_O

Speaking of garments and a few dozen holes...last week I replaced the battery in our office forklift. I was extra careful not to get any acid on my clothes only to do laundry yesterday and find the left lower leg of a pair of Wranglers looks like it got hit with a load of #6 shot. Still haven't figured that one out yet.

You should keep wearing them I believe you would be in style now! I see theses youngsters running around with jeans that barely qualify as pants all the time now.

I am going to wear them. The rest is still good and all the damage is from the knee down and a lot of little holes so it looks like it splashed or maybe dripped out one of the vent caps. It was an old style group 24 with individual caps.

Funny thing is I carried it with both hands in front of me with my arms extended...only had to go 10-15' from the forklift to my pick up.

well finally took a day for myself. went to Dalsons(my 3rd claimed son) and did 15lb. of deer snack sticks for Outlanders trip as he had a deer bologna order and equipment was dirty, will go on the smoker in the morning. he has 350lb. of pork shoulder to grind later this summer for the deer season. got a heck of good price by the case at Costco, prepping 2 deer lasagnas to cook tommorow. been a relaxing day for once,im well hydrated:thumbsup::boom:4861D5FE-FCCE-4876-A7D3-B256D5408747.jpg3ABA0219-B462-4D7C-940F-6CA97C833E1A.jpgB7F3103B-11A9-449A-B9F9-42A87C86ACA0.jpg59D70E05-4D42-4EE9-A1D6-DF6982D09EE4.jpg

Well, I made it back home.

The kid was offered a job today with the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Protection. Temporary but it’s a start. Thanks for all the well wishes. You might be able to tell how proud I am for her. Her lease is up in August, now the hunt for a new place to stay.

    Happy Birfday @Marty65

    Happy B-Day to @Marty65 !

Swim qual- that brought back a few memories. We just swam in the pool at PI, but the annual swim qual/surf qual were a combined exercise at Pendleton. Take 2 loads of boots through the surf zone in the back of a Trac, open the cargo hatches and push 'em off into the ocean with a weighed ALICE pack, boots & Utes. Then all of the NCO's had to do it in front of the troops.

We have this friend that is a hairdresser and they also have like Internet fashion shows selling clothes. The wife was listening one night and I kept hearing shacket and I asked what in the world is a Shacket. It turns out it’s a shabby shirt that looks like one of my old blue Jean shirts after I had been running 6010 roots and set them on fire a couple times.

Same with morons wearing baggy pants below their butts and tugging on them all the time so they don't fall.
