    Some Fun facts.
Wyoming pop, 2021 census-578,803 (the entire state)
    Fort Collins pop, 2021 census-168,538
    Denver pop, 2023 census-2,897,000
Colorado pop, 2021 census-5.8 million (prolly well over 6 at this point)

Yesterday was the maiden voyage; first night in the tent. Needs finishing details. Positive experience for sure. Good to finally get out again.

Never said that, it's been bad for the last decade. I said it's only gonna get worse.

Old roof vent on the camper. It wasn't leaking yet, but I think another round of summer sun was gonna do it in. Yes, that's Flex Tape on it from 3 -4 years ago. Helped get a bit more life from it. Was original from 1994.

    actually lets light thru now.

In retrospect, prolly shouldn't haven't bothered with the tape as it left a ridge. If it doesn't level out, I'll squirt another bead around it and just let it self level. It did have even squish inside and out, so it will either leak or it won't. Yes, I reused the original screws because only the birds and squirrels can see it.

Roof was stronger than i gave it credit for, it actually held me and didn't give anywhere.

Seriously! Anyone have broker recommendations? I think my house insurance has more than doubled over the past few years.

call the Kaufman Agency - 303-975-0363 and ask for Brian. They quote for most carriers that allow brokers - not AllState, Farmers, ....

They will do their best to save you $$ and get the best coverage.

Looks like you used a dicor product, however I recommend this one for roof vents https://omnioutdoorliving.com/dicor...YQ2cLREuA701WuRU2fjpPL9BUx4QZt4xoC138QAvD_BwE

I install probably 4-5 a week and havent had one leak yet!

yep. AllState, Farmers, American Family and many independent and don't allow brokers to quote - I just renewed my auto and home - none of those I just noted were even close to the price my broker got me for the exact same coverage amounts - including Progressive. Each year I request they do the numbers and find me the equal or better coverage for the best price. This year my proposed auto was to go up 21% (blame covid, chip shortage, auto parts costs, increasing numbers of uninsured and under insured, used and new car prices....) and my home was scheduled to go up 50% (insurance companies now want to have a separate policy for roof/wind/hail on top of claiming wildfire hazard zone). Final results were no cost increases in either. F'n insurance companies are raping all of us - Progressive just released their projected profit margins for auto - up 15%. Use a broker - you still hold the cards and you will get the best coverage for the lowest price. I've had zero claims and zero auto tickets.

The chick at Cousins RV asked if it was dicor, told her it was metal, so that was what she recommended.
:notsure: I hope it's the right stuff. The old stuff was still very sticky and flexible for as old as it was.
