Just got the OTT tune done to my truck last week (2020 3rd Gen AT). I should have done this 40k miles ago lol. Immediately after the tune I drove 390 miles from Boulder, CO to Moab, UT. Averaged 22mpg on 265/70r17s over I-70. Huge shout out to OTT and Adam (Denver tuner) for helping my truck drive so much more smoothly. Went with light/mild, but may update in the future once I install my lift and larger tires.

Update. I'm going to leave the tune at this setting for the summer/fall. Until there is some chance of ice/snow. This is just so fun to drive now. Loads of power and she just wants to go. The response of the truck at this setting is perfect for me and makes it a pleasure to drive.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Is this still true if we're working with a different tuner?

I got my tune back in March at a meetup event, but the tuner himself lives pretty far away from me, making adjustments impractical. I see on your website that you have a tuner in my area "coming soon." Can I reach out to him for adjustments when he's up and running? I think I'd like to move down a throttle setting.

Yes sir. We’ll get you taken care of when the new tuner completes his onboarding and training. Any one in our network can and would be able to update you.

    Sweet. Thank you.

Might be a good idea to put it up on your web site. Unless I can't find where the 4.7 is supported.

Just got my '22 TRD OR AT tuned with Chris at Buffalo Speed Co. I only have 4600 mi. on the odometer but I knew when I purchased the truck that I'd eventually be getting a tune to improve things. Based on my driving style and requirements, Chris recommended the light/mild tune and the truck feels like a different animal - no more gear hunting, holds gears longer to keep you in the power band, and has lots more get up and go!

I just had my 2018 TRD OR AT tuned on Saturday by @trdquoc here in SoCal and have already put 200+ miles on it. Just like others have reported, the tune completely changed how the truck drives, it’s way more responsive, has a much smoother power band and no more gear hunting. I highly recommend hitting up @trdquoc to get the tune if you’re on the fence and live in SoCal. Thank you @JustDSM and @trdquoc!

Flashed the tune myself recently. Went with lite/spicy. With ECT pressed the truck feels like it has a sport mode now. Living in a hilly area, with ECT engaged it’ll hold 4th gear and power up hills where it would normally lose momentum and want to shift to 3rd. Have a 1k mile trip coming up and will report back with mpgs and an update.

I’ve been running 87 octane. Any reason to to go 91?

Yes, definitely. Whether the difference is worth the increased cost of admission is impossible for me to say.

That said I run premium in my personal truck.

So to do this myself, I will need to purchase the tune, purchase the VF tuner software/kit, and then will I need techstream to update TSB first?

Feels like I took the handcuffs off my truck, or training wheels if that makes any sense. Best investment by far.
