From what I see, the Tundra from 2021 To 2022 had an average 11% increase in the starting price per each trim. I expect probably the same in the Tacoma. We will see.

Seems like the suspension seats on the Pro are kinda new for a truck of this size/use, no?

That’s true. Seems kinda gimmicky IMO to put shocks on my seat. Basically saying the shocks on the truck aren’t good enough to prevent a jarring off road experience at speed so they had to double up with shocks in the actual seat….

Still didn't watch the whole video, but just because the dealer has a markup doesn't mean Toyota will mark it up $X's. Toyota's find-a-vehicle shows $52-57K depending on packages. ($USD) upload_2023-5-23_11-10-12.jpg

this might be right, 2021 Tundra Pro started at 53k , new one 70k , that's a 32% increase which is crazy. Will we see a 32% increase in the TRD Pro taco.? I doubt it. I think more in line of a 15% -20%

Yeah I get your point, but Nissan was also able to keep the king cab in their recent refresh and ford still has their screw. Don’t actually know how those rated but they passed enough for them to keep going is all I’m saying. Oh well, I’m stuck in my DC for another 18 years anyways lol…just was a huge fan of my access cab before the kiddo and want one again someday.

Ah Tundra, yeah totally agree. I can't spec a nice Tundra without feeling like I'm signing another mortgage.

Well he says it was 53-54 in 21 and now a 23 is around 70. So to be honest I think that his guess of 62 for a new Pro Tacoma is pretty close

I've got an 88 GMC SLE 1500 that I rebuilt (had a GM Master mk do the transmission), and it has a 5.7 V8. Tons of power, but I wanted to downsize, so I'm selling the GMC to pay for the Taco.

Probable? More than likely, pros are already priced at that price point, so much denial here. This is an all new truck with a ton of new features, it will see a similar price jump as the Tundra did and in-line with competitors and they’ll sell them no problem. People here are living in mythical fairy tale land thinking there won’t be a decent price increase across all trims and more so for loaded specific trims.

maybe if all of the members on tacoma world get together and petitions for a group buy form toyota for the '24 tacoma we can get a discound of like 25%

we'll just get them to ship it straight to our houses, screw the stealerships.

anyone wanna start a group buy thread?

The fourth gen pro is much further separated from the grades below it then in the 3rd gen. Its wider, different front bumper, steel rear bumper, more lights front and rear, shocks in the seat, plus a full suspension upgrade.

A 3rd gen pro was just suspension and a grill correct?
