interesting, 4th gen access cab will no longer have a rear seat or rear doors. Guess they are only offering it for the fleet market but I would've thought the rear doors would be useful even then.

Access cabs half gone away do to side impact cream requirements. By keeping it fixed in place it's much more rigid.

Sell em on ebay. For awhile ABB had those on critical allocation. Atleast the non HVAC variety anyways.

 

Wow I was just researching the this other day, but with DD-WRT and thinking about how far south this process could go if it didn't work, like a flash error, etc. Glad to hear you made it out okay. Why did you choose OpenWRT over DD-WRT?

 

My Asus wasn’t supported by DD-WRT. I’m not really worried about killing a router because I have a a pile of them with spotty firmware from the factory. If it was a brand new $300+ router I’d definitely be concerned about bricking one.

Good deal. I have a few 'consumer grade' wireless routers kicking around that I'd like to at least experiment with. Improving wireless stability is what I would be after. We have since moved on to Ubiquiti AP's and so far so good.

 

Damn. Those 4th gen Xtra Cabs look good. May spring for one in a year or two. Thinking TRD Sport with the 6 spd. Though if the SR/SR5 has 4x4 with the 6 spd I may consider that instead. Dont want to trade the 1st gen, but probably would have to.

 

I thought I read somewhere the 4th gen manuals will only come with the double cab, somewhere on here. Can't remember the thread
