I am under the gun to get prepped by friday. Still have the drawer to build for the sleeping platform. Switch out the wheels and tires back on to the 4runner. But got all the wings mounted and ready to rock last night.

 

I've got a Doc appointment this week and other shit to take care of and the Taco is still on jackstands in the backyard...

Found out this morning that one of my long time childhood/school friends was shot and killed during a traffic stop last night. Suspect fled the scene but is now in custody. Some piece of shit who didn't want to get caught for previous crimes. My friend was the son of a Yavapai Sheriff's Deputy (he was the local deputy in our little town growing up), was an 8 year Army Vet and then came back to be a Sheriff's Deputy in Kentucky.. Left behind his wife and his 2 young children.

 

need to finish the UCAs/tightening down everything, need to get grease, etc.. Just havent had time.

 

Is it ever a real camp/wheel trip if we arent under a time restraint to get shit done?!

no, another friend. There were pictures of us though in that same photo album. My Mom just sent me a bunch of pictures of us as kids.

Also, the nail gun, would I be able to hang on to it for next weekend when I go up to finish the garage? If you need/want it back though, I'll bring it camping for sure. I can also grab the leftover nails and screws for you and Andrew when I go up there.

 

Yeah I dont see a problem with that. I dont have anything scheduled for him that needs the gun.

Random question of the day... Anyone got a 2/3 bed house they have coming available for rent in the next 3-4 months. Preferably west side of PHX but open to other areas including the corridor all the way up to and including Flag.

 

When we get back from our trip ill be looking to try some shit for sure. Maybe flat tow the Blazer behind the RV to Moab for some fun.

Where would you guys recommend he look for not too much of a migrane but getting a decent amount of cash?

Anyone used carvana or anything like that lately? I know craigslist has devolved into nonsense but can sometimes still be successful if you filter.
