Started messing around with placement of things on the cross bars. I like them. I have lots of options. I can mount my Husqy 455 Rancher under the shovel with the scabbard mount.

ok so i been debating on upgrading my OEM fogs and my Calirasied ditch lights with Baja designs or Rigid LEDs.
Maybe even getting OEM Rigid fogs. Are they worth it or aftermarket better?

The Diode Dynamics Elite fogs are incredible if you want to keep an OEM look in the bumper. Their other options are as well, but I chose the Elites to keep the OE styling.

Baja Designs are also fantastic for your ditch lights and any auxiliary lighting.

A similar cross bar that could mount onto t-nuts in the bed rail (horizontal or vertical) would be pretty cool. A floating 'mini-MOLLE'.

Unfortunately I haven't done any metal work in years and don't have the tools.

Picked up a TRD skid plate from @daveeasa over the weekend. Got it installed (by myself) today! :muscleflexing:

Install was a little easier than expected. The paperwork we received when we bought the Taco last January indicated that it already had one. It wasn't there. Looks like the original owner removed it and sold it, (or maybe the dealer put it on another truck) and stuck a stock front skid plate on, didn't even bother to put the back one on. Nor did they bother to replace any bolts. But that made my life a little easier I guess. Silver lining and all.

    Thanks Dave... looking good!

This is the one I snaked from @Tacospike but I forget who the seller was. Sadly, it looked too bright and cheery on my gloomy MGM and didn't mate up well with the RCI Transmission skid @mysubiewasalemon welded for me. So I moved it to the '05 but once I stuffed the demello bumper on that one it stuck out like a widemouth bass. So, switching to RCI aluminum on the '05.

I like the pro skid but in the end, I like RCI a bit better.

Looking to depart with my ARE CX HD in cement and the carpet kit. Life changes are forcing me but I’m on the fence. Spent 4K total and struggling to potentially be letting it go for 2500.00

Should I keep it or let it goooooooo?
Hopefully when I reach 50 posts, I should have my mind made up.

    Rolled 20k this morning.
    IMG_4113.jpg

Then took the afternoon to install the SDHQ battery terminals and continue wiring up the Auxbeam AR-800, ditch lights and ARB twin. Turns out the positive battery cables I had previously ordered from batterycablesusa were a little long and the terminals (although they probably would work) were a little large.

I re-ordered the positive cables for the Auxbeam to cutoff switch 14" long with 1/4" terminals and positive battery terminal to cut off switch 14" long with 1/4" and 3/8" terminals. Going to use the included Auxbeam ground cable.

Back to waiting on parts as usual...:playball:
