I'm in the market for a set of tires (275/70/17). Anybody has insider knowledge of Memorial Day sales in a few weeks?

    TIA

I am in the same boat-- keeping my eyes peeled for a 33-34" tire for my 16" wheels. The 34" (295/75/16) is a tough find as it is, so im not too hopeful, but I would settle for a 285 again if the price wand weight are in line.

Mr. Discount Tire, what day do you anticipate for the Memorial day sales to hit? Seems like it is the same May sales on your deals page?
I am looking for some falken wildpeaks this weekend if the deal is right.

I'm looking for a set of 265/75/16s for my 2009. I just picked it up, and the tires are shot. Any leads on good deals very much appreciated!

I'm trying to stay under $4-500 for a set of 4, if possible. Hopefully something similar to the Cooper AT3s. Thanks!

Less than $125 for a name brand AT tire? Good luck!

Thanks for the reply - I'm trying to get a feel for what I'll have to spend, and was hoping ~$500 would be reasonable.

Do you have any suggestions on the make/model of a good set of 265/75/16? Thanks again!

Eh it looks like the Falkens are even more expensive than the Cooper AT3s. Thank you, though.

After some thoughts (and thanks @Discount Tire for the feedback on the 275s), I may need to go with 265s. I'm sure there's been discussion on this, but haven't found it yet. I'm currently running 275/70/17. If I go with 265/75/17, will I see any rubbing? My setup is just 5100s to level my Gen 3. With the current 275 with a -10 offset, I rub slightly turning in reverse. According to the tire size calculator, 265/75 is is .49mm higher, and .25mm higher sidewall.

.49 mm is nothing-- you wont notice it. The tire width is 10mm narrower with the 265's so you may be better off, but it all depends where your rubbing.

Will these fit comfortably/safely on a 2009 2.7L on stock suspension?
