However, mine is a lil different. I currently have the toytec kit with spring, spacer and rear AAL. I am going to order the 5100's this week, but I am wondering what springs I should use with them? Keep the 884's and take out the spacer, or put the stock ones back in? Or is there a different coil to use together? Thanks.

The toytech kit with the eibach spring/coil? If it is, the eibach is VERY stiff and hard to compress (let the pro's do it, seriously!). IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING THE 2.5 SETTING w/EIBACH AND SPACERS YOU'LL NEED UCAs!!! I did this 2 weeks ago and removed both .5 and 1x .25 spacers because my UCAs were riding the spring! Let us know what setting you plan on using...it will dictate your setup. If I woulda known what I know now, i would of set it at .85 (no higher than 1.75) and used the spacers. If you have the money go ahead an purchase some Light Racing UCA's from fatbobs for 379 (you have to call them for that price). Another thing, my ABS will have to be re-programmed to compensate for the new parameters of the larger tires...something i didnt know. Expect to lose approx. 1.5-2 MPG too! Another bit of advice would be to invest in an alignment package...I paid $150 for unlimited alignments with Firestone...I've already had 3 alignments in 3 weeks! Worth the money already. Note** I messed with the lift 2x, so thats why I needed multiple alignments...regardless, the stiffness of the lift will settle, and you'll have to get another alignment anyways...hope this helps! Check my pics to see my taco with the 5100 billys (set at 2.5)

The highest you can go on the 5100s with eibach coils is the .85 notch. Anything higher will likely result in some considerable damage.

I know now after reading posts on here...fixed! The tire shop down the road charges me 20 to compress both springs...glad they're not assholes about it!

Well, I would have the 5100's set at the second height, Im not exactly sure what that is. I only want about 2 inches of lift, but I need to make sure the truck sits level as I am keeping the AAL in the back. So should I put the stock coils back on, or keep the 884s?

If you have the OME 884s then i'd stick with those...i think if you had the 885s i would consider the stock ones. But the 884s should give you a good ride..my buddy has those on his and his billys are set at .85.

I'm gonna put this to the top.............don't kill me, I just spent an hour searching the 5100 threads. i am installing my 5100's next week, I am also keeping the 884 coils. I have a Toytec 1.5 aal, what setting do I put the billies at? I just read that the lift will come from the coil rather than than the shock, is that true? I would like to keep the truck even, i.e no rake. Thanks.

    5100's and tint so far.
Hope im understanding you right. You said you want to add 5100's on your truck and stay level with stock rear springs. If so i just had 5100's installed set at 1.75 second from the top with stock springs and stock leaf springs in the rear and the front is only a 1/8" higher looks totally level.I was worried it would be to stiff ride but turns out it is more comfortable of a ride then the stock bilsteins hope that helps.

hey Hockeydad, no, I have a ToyTec lift kit that includes front 884 coil springs and a rear AAL. I am installing 5100's, but I do not know what setting to keep the shocks at to keep the height even. I think it may be the .85, but some people have 885's with the billies and use the 0 setting. Thanks.

From what I gathered you already have 884's installed and an AAL? If so, how level are you? If you're happy the way it sits now, set the billies at 0. You have a light truck, setting then 5100's at 0 should still give you around 2" of lift with the 884 coils.

Yes sir, that is correct. I like exactly how it sits now, but it has the small spacer above the 884 coil that I will be removing. So should I set the billie at .85, or still at zero? Thank you very much Pugga.

How big is the plate spacer, is it only the 1/4" one? If so, just re-use it. Setting the 5100's at .85 will be taller than your current set up with the plate spacer.

^ Yes, it is the 1/4 inch one. So it would be better to re-use that than use the billie for the extra height? Is there a setting that would make the truck sit mostly level without the spacer? Thanks.

The settings are 0, .85", 1.75" and 2.5". If you're level with the 1/4" spacer then the .85 would put you slightly nose high. If you're happy with the way it sits now, there's no reason to change it. Keeping your current spacer would be fine.
