2005 Mitsubishi Galant ES

Normally, I would not pay any attention to a ninth generation Mitsubishi Galant, but this one is obviously quite unique. In addition to the anime-themed paintjob, this is a daily driver with 140K miles that runs great and has ice cold A/C. It is a V6, and the owner told me that the car has been incredibly reliable...

 

My parents considered buying a sedan in 2003-2004 to replace our problematic 2000 GMC Safari conversion van, and my dad actually like the way that the then-new 2004 Galant looked on the outside. Once he sat in one, however, he wasn't impressed with the fit and finish. The anime car doesn't have navigation, but Galants equipped with GPS had it housed in an bulky box that jutted up above A/C vents rather being seamlessly integrated into the dashboard. The anime theme carries on inside this car, and it also has a killer stereo system!

 

There were two very unique Mitsubishi Galants at the Cabela's show earlier this month. The other one was this black 2002 model done up in a 1980s video motif...

This Galant was also in great condition and fully operational (runs great, ice cold A/C, etc), and it has like 116K miles, just like the anime one...
