My 2005 V6 Access Cab taco is in desperate need of an exhaust. It was chopped off and replaced by a cherry bomb by the previous owner. Anyways there is an exhaust off a 2022 Tacoma access cab for sale. Brand new for 200$ locally. Will this bolt on and have the hangers on similar locations? If not is it possible to rig something together?

I'm about to put a 3rd gen exhaust on a 2nd gen. Exhausts are different. The in pipe on the 2nd gen is longer then the 3rd. I'm planning to use a piece of pipe from the 2nd to extend to the flange on the 3rd. Hangers should be close enough, might need some persuasion to line up perfectly.

People are charging for their OE take-offs? I was trying to give mine away with 1200 miles on it for like a year before I chopped it up and threw it out.

I don't think it will be fully pnp but if you can weld you should be able to use some parts from it.

I installed a factory cat back exhaust from a 2013 dclb on my 2009 dclb without any issues.

^'13 and '09 are both 2nd gen. 3rd gen exhaust is different at the crossover pipe collector.

Here are a few pics of the process. I went with cutting off the flange and using a clamp, instead of welding a flange to the piece of old pipe. Also had to turn the last hanger 90deg, propane torch and extension pipe.
