    2000 Tacoma's don't have EGR valves. I found this out after an hour of looking for it and consulting my Haynes repair manual. You might want to also clean the idle air control valve as this can cause your truck to idle rough. The IACV is located directly under the throttle body (attached to the throttle body). You can purchase throttle body cleaner at your local part store and you will need to purchase two replacement gaskets; one for the IACV/throttle body and one for the throttle body/intake. The gaskets and cleaner will set you back maybe $15 or less.

    ok ill do that. i already have a new MAF sensor which helped a little bit but not 80 bucks worth lol
