CMC done today at SDHQ in Gilbert. Came out really clean. Finally no more rubbing during turns and at full lock.

well after my initial trip with my first travel trailer i have learned 2 very important things about towing with a taco. A Weight distribution hitch is a must with anything over 4000lbs. yea a 2 hour drive without one. not cool. and second. the ECT power button? yea i figured out how to use that little button. very cool. now with those lessons learned and new hitch on. i will see how a 10 hour drive up to north of Edmonton for a family reunion will go.

Those things are great, used them for years. I actually double them up (Just one gets jammed all the way down), but they've been great for me in a Outback, Cruze, Challenger, and now my tacoma. Highly recommended.

Depends on how deep the rust is but the pic looks superficial. Like others said, any sort of abrasive would work. Sand paper is probably the cheapest option and an angle grinder with a flap disc is probably too aggressive. Por-15 is highly regarded but I haven’t used yet.

probably get it undercoated afterwards from now on too if you want to prevent rust

Sold it. That’s right I sold my 2022 TRD off-road last night. It was a real nice truck but just to nice for what I need a truck for. Going to look for another tacoma but 2wd access cab 5speed from 1998-2015. That fits my needs much better and for less money. Was fun hanging out here and I will still post in the motorcycle section and when ever I find my next truck I will be back.

Not today but over the weekend. Took my cover off and installed 3/4” spacers and 285 75 r16 on stock rims. Had the mud flaps on the front but went playing right after and tore one off so it made it much easier to remove the other. HahaIMG_1061.jpgIMG_1063.jpg IMG_1064.jpgIMG_1065.jpg IMG_4628.jpg

Evacuation pump. Stick in the dip stick hole and suck. Still gotta get on the ground for the filter but was a dream when working on the 2.2L when the filter is on top of the exhaust manifold. Can change the oil in less than 10 minutes and not have to worry about getting on the ground at all.

You should consider a drop hitch to allow the trailer to sit level so it doesn't weigh down your hitch so much.

Washed truck, hit a bump, noticed a clunk, drive home, jacked up front end, wiggled tires, took off tires, found either the spc ball joint or bushings on pass side clunking. ‍♂️ only a couple thousand Km on them.
