The 9 fasteners to remove the air dam have been mentioned many times in many places. People are getting all bent out of shape about it but hey have to put them on enough models to get the MPG numbers they need for government approval. They know good and well that nobody wants to have it on there, that’s why they make it easily removable. It’s really not a big deal.
And the Pro is not available with a 6 foot bed. It’s pretty well documented, including the Toyota website itself, that the Pro is only available in the 5 foot bed. Most of the other options including the TH are available with 5 or 6.

Both look too gaudy for me. If I can get a TH without bed rack and the snorkel I’d consider it. I would not consider getting a Pro. If I can’t get the TH the way I want it. I’ll be getting Off Road. I’m wondering if that 2400w inverter and on-board air will be available on the OR hybrid.

What I heard so far is that they offer customizable to all other trims. So probably.

It's been confirmed on YouTube a few times by people who were in Hawaii for the launch. They even took it off the SR5 at the event.

Just spoke today with the dealer I deal with. Same sales person who sold me my 21 tundra Pro. He has a deposit on a Pro. Being repeat customer I will get it at msrp. He also said the higher end models the Pro and trail hunter you will not get one till next summer if you put a deposit down.

Sounds like the TRD Off-Road would be the perfect candidate for you. I am starting to change my mind from the Pro to the Off-Road due to not needing the ISO Seats etc.

Not a big deal but I just saw a video saying the fog lights on Trailhunter can be changed to either white or yellow. Kind of cool IMO.

I really like my 23 Pro , I am going to wait a few years and see what all they end up changing as issues occur. I think I like the looks of the trail hunter better than the new pro, but don't care for the snorkel. Those shiny fender flares on the pro just don't do it for me. The seat in the pro may be awesome but again I want to see how that turns out. Time will tell. Good luck to all those who are going to get the 24.

For the 3rd gens I just got a 4X4 SR5, deleted the stupid air dam, added armor, front and rear 2.5 inch ADS bypass shocks, Dakkars, Ray 10s, Nitto Ridge Grapplers, front and rear lockers, etc and still came out ahead $$$ wise.

So my point is that it will be a mathematical decision for me. I will see if you can build something as good or better with, say, an SR5 for less $$$.

Any news on how easy it is to get a winch on these things? Does anyone know if it will be straightforward to get 33s on all models?

I have a new 2023, so this new one is out of the question for me. I am very happy with what I have. But if I had to choose, I would take an SR5 with manual transmission and the small infotainment screen.

It's not just the fender flares. Every black trimming is gloss black on the Pro. Questioning why they did this.....

A few YouTubers have mentioned the gloss colors are only there because the trucks are preproduction models. I don't think it'll stick.

They will probably get scratched up pretty good being gloss. They will realize this and maybe make the 2025 matte black which would look great IMO.

Maybe the Turd bro, but in reality when the MSRP is announced and I get humbled I will probably only dream of those and get the TRD OR

I'll get the Pro, short bed BUT I'll wait for either 2nd or 3rd year. Thinking about Raptor actually.

I actually see quite a few differences. I think the Trailhunter is a good concept, and targeting the “one stop aftermarket shop” might work for some folks out there. I have a feeling there will be folks who look down their noses at the idea & will in turn not give the TH any respect.

I’m going to pick up a TRD Pro. It fits my application better. I won’t be rock crawling. I have a Jeep for that.
