We are getting dumped on right now! I have a good 8+ inches of new snow on my front door and the flakes are huge, that being said I believe by the time this trip rolls around it will be fine up there. Sure there may still be snow but not bad enough or cold enough to make the trip change.

I just got more info from my friend. It was June last year that he tried to get up there and there was just too much snow. He said they spent a lot of time digging themselves out trying (and they ended up helping dig someone else out that was trying too).

So just be aware. If the tap shuts off soon, White Rock Lake should be available. But if we get hit with snow in May like we did last year (we had 3 storms that dumped 5 inches each last May at my house), or if it snows in June (like it did in previous years), then you should have some alternate plans ready. The lake itself is almost at 8,000 ft.

If you guys think my truck will make one, maybe two, of the trails there...count me in.

Is there fishing at the lake?

I'm sorry dude... probably not going to make it with your truck, But there will be plenty of room for you to ride along with someone else on the wheeling part. I think we might do some fire roads on one of the days. You will be able to do those.

At the moment I think I'll be in for this trip since its looking more like I'll be moving down to the north bay area soon.

Josh, Interested in where you're camping.... might wanna join you out there if that cool.
If that doesnt work....Felipe, wanna split a site so it's cheaper?
