I ate breakfast there every Thursday for the last two years. Since I quit my job I havent been back to show low though.

 

The breakfast burritos are the Stanford General Store used to be really good, but I haven't ate there in years.

 

Appreciate it man. Got one more weekend to go up and finish the garage. My brother-in-law, myself, @prise and @KingOfTheNorth were able to get the whole house demo'd and finished over the weekend. Cant thank them enough for that. Was a lot of work.. but came out good. Garage should go much easier.

no good before pics, but this shows the garage and how bad the original green trim was in some spots around the house and garage. ripped out the old fascia and flashing and replaced.

 

When did you quit?!

There sandwiches are awesome but they are changing that around so much. Food is supposedly getting better.

but yes.. the house will be for sale soon.. possibly. Still trying to convince her to stay. would be listed between 550k-600k. 4 acres with a creek. horse property. no hoa. Can see Crown King from my bedroom window..

 

Thanks, looking at buying too but not with the way the market is right now unless the right house with the right price came along…

Damn that sounds pretty nice! Horse property and a Creek, It would be hard to leave. Lots of memories I'm sure.

 

Feb 28th was my last day. Been working 7 days a week since then to get the RV done and both houses ready for our trip. Flag house is on airbnb now and phoenix house has a renter/house sitter in the casita.

 

Spring Valley.

Exactly. We bought the land back in 95 or so for 40k.. cut the pad (learned how to run a dozer and backhoe as a kid) then built the house. panned for gold in the creek (old mining town) and got into all kinds of shenanigans. house is backed up to BLM land too. 5 minutes and you're out back able to 4 wheel, camp, shoot, etc.

Still murky, didn’t catch anything either, last time I stayed till about noon and caught one, I bailed around 9:30 because I lost 2 woolly buggers and shredded another two. Wasn’t a great day lmao

My wife asked for a greasy ass burrito this morning. (Her exact words). She went a little hard in the paint for a work night with her friends from work last night. Can only imagine her office this morning with all of them hungover.
