Our neighborhood now has a multitude of speed bumps which didn’t allow me to set up the brake boost. The elementary parking lot gave me enough room to set it up.

A buddy of mine actually had that same trailer. The quality was great compare to a ton of brands. Had to make lil tiny pockets cut into the front interior to make his tracked quad fit.

He also snow camped in it a few times. Fun seeing it behind the Sarpinz.

I like the red. I think I saw his rig on the intech facebook site. The build quality is top notch.

I would not doubt he was used in advertising, lol. He's worked with quite a few brands. But I will say, he still uses his stuff. He has been active in Search and Rescue here for YEARS. His Pinzgauer has hauled a ton of people and equipment offroad, and even the FJ he built (with a cummins swap) has seen some trails. He even built a matching Honday Monkey and took it on a couple sections of the WABDR.

And I can't complain about his affinity to quality builds. My wife bought that quad (sans tracks) and it is a beast.

Damn I'm looking at getting one of these now. Maybe the Discover model with dual tipouts.

The discover is really nice. The indoor kitchen was tempting but its size and weight was a bit more than we wanted to tow. We almost ordered the explore with the two tip outs but you lose the ramp door. Either way they are a great option and much more suited for the things we do. Good luck!

I love the idea of this over a typical TT. If not transporting the moto, there s lots of room for my dog crates. My only concern is the width when both tipouts are deployed. I watched a video for dual tipouts on the explorer and they really do ruin it with loss of ramp, side door and window.

Way more reliable without the slide out. #1 thing to fail.

As an experiment I hooked up my dad’s Grand Design 17MKE to my Tacoma and took it for a spin. Trailer spec is 4500lbs dry and 490lb tongue weight when full of propane.

I have blue Sumo Springs and a Redarc controller, but no weight distribution hitch. (This trailer is normally towed behind a 2005 f250 with helper springs, and doesn’t need a WDH behind that truck. Obviously I needed one, see pic)

Results: that was one wild ride! I’m sure I could get the trailer to a local campsite on level ground, but it would be nerve wracking taking it up hills or going on the freeway.

Mad respect to those of you pulling trailers all over the world at or near the weight limit of the Tacoma.

    Our little set up.......
Towed this OGT 1800 ( dry) trailer some absolutely crazy places, now towing with my DCLB.

Truck will soon get a lift/gears and 34s(ish) and the trailer will get some BFG ATs as well.

Trailer tows like magic behind the Taco.

WDH and Hammer Hangers do a lot to stabilize bigger loads. these little trucks need some work to get them comfortable near their limit.
