So, instead of putting "!" at the end they now have "!!!"?

As the new guy, it's your job to empty the bit bucket.

Get cracking. We can't have it overflow.

That would probably be more secure!

We had an update to our system. Didn't go well for a couple hours.

Someone at work actually did this, and somehow I'm the one that got pegged with fixing it every time it gets corrupted. Each time it happens, I tell them to move it to Access. They agree, then immediately forget. One of the "fixes" is to highlight empty cells on all of the sheets and hit the delete key. It actually makes the file smaller when you do that, even though there's no data in those cells at all.

Any recommendations to learn Red Hat? My work is pushing to get into the RH Sys Admin training but I do not have much Linux experience.

My company just moved my email to Outlook/Office365. Seems I can edit attachments in browser, which means it's uploaded to OneDrive first. However, if I delete the file from OneDrive, Outlook doesn't pickup on that and keeps pointing to a deleted file, so I can no longer edit in browser again. Is there a way to fix that?

I'm out of the loop on Windows troubleshooting these days. My mom says that while using her computer (Win 10), she'll see a command window pop-up and disappear. Sometimes two or three in quick succession. Nothing has been flagged by antivirus or malware detection.

Is there a way I can see what commands were run?

Anyone in here familiar with HP ProCurve CLI? I've inherited some old infrastructure that needs to last a couple more months before I can have it replace but right now I need to add some ACLs to a list and I'm totally unfamiliar with how procurve cli works and it seems the GUI has been disabled.

A heads-up to anyone using Kaspersky for security/antivirus. I was using them, and the US State Department declared them untrustworthy a while ago, and there was an opportunity to switch to another provider. (I chose BitDefender.) Apparently some folks did nothing and are now discovering that UltraAV is being installed on their machines without warning, in place of the Kaspersky products. In my case, since I had already deleted all Kaspersky software, that did not happen; however they still decided that I was a subscriber to UltraAV, and were still planning to renew said subscription! Fortunately they gave warning, which allowed me to cancel it.
