I called a business, just waiting on a call back with the price of the 1x1 tubes. I'm gonna need some 10ft pieces, and Lowe's only has 8ft ones.

I called Alabama Steel in Montgomery

From that site, they only have stainless and steel square tubing. Do you know if they have square aluminum tube?

 

Pick the dimensions. Thats why i love this place they have everything and super easy to work with. Can be done all on their website and you can go pick up. Of course you can call in as well.

Showing 10ft not available online and to call. It'd have to be a significant savings to drive to Bham over Montgomery.........I'll give them a call too


They are showing 8ft for $50 a stick. Lowe's has the same 1x1x0.065 tubing for $28 a stick.

 

Idk if there's a difference but i know Metal supermarkets uses all US base local steel. IDK what lowes uses. But if its cheaper at lowe get it there.

 

I don't know if aluminum is different, but Dualex used the stuff from Lowe's, so I know it works.

It's just not worth taking 4 days off in the middle of my stretch. If I'm gonna take off, I want to take all 8 days giving me 20 off
