If you can’t wait till June/July they have these on sale for $349 or so one of the best 22 uppers I have ever shot.

 

I’d just get a ruger 10/22 if I were you. I’ve never liked the idea of dirtying up my nice ARs with a 22lr upper and you can get the whole gun for less than what an upper costs.

If you want one that is about as close to and AR as you can get with out being an AR, the 15-22 is a great option. Mine feeds everything. You can find them used for $350 around me.

I'm in Gwinnett county. Keep an eye out on the outdoortrader. I haven't really been looking, but I almost grabbed one for a friend 6 months ago b/c it was $325. There's one listed in winder for $400 but it has 4 mags ($25 each) and is the threaded barrel version. The one that was $325 was the non threaded barrel.

Oh yea just started driving again on Monday but only 20 mins. so looking in person hard to do. But improvement, all locations to pick anything up firearm related 30 mins. away or more.
Been sending Maligator out after whistle pigs funny it's a fur missile takingoff.

 

Never used one. Have you checked out PSA? They got come good deals on complete ARs.

If you're handy you can build a solid rifle pretty cheap too. I've used Anderson lowers on two builds and they have given me zero issues. It's not hard, the hardest part I've found was fitting the barrel, but even that there are tricks to make it easy.

 

Yes there about 75 miles from me but they don't make in stock any AR- 22Lr but they do carry. looking at reviews from different plinkers.

 

I dunno what’s to not understand.

Rimfire ammo is very dirty and gums up guns much more quickly than centerfire ammo requiring much more frequent cleanings. I often have to give my .22s a quick clean halfway through a range day. Admittedly a typical range day for me involves 1-2,000 rounds of suppressed .22lr.

Without fully tearing down the FCG it’s pretty much impossible to get a 22lr super clean which is something I’ve come to live with. I’d rather do that to a $300 10/22 than my $2,000 AR. Then again I also don’t have dozens of ARs like some people do.
