The pro supposedly comes with an arb high clearance bumper. The one in the video is a trail hunter edition- and that didnt look like a high clearance bumper- to me at least. Curious how non pro models will ultimately be impacted by this.

I'm pretty sure the TH & Pro have the same bumper. I imagine non pro models will not have the jack points on the frame.

Pretty sure I'm not talking about that. Talking about the ugly stamped shit at the top of the bed/rear of cab. Plus the overall style...:puke:

I’m pretty sure he’s talking about the sport bar, roof rack, molle panels and all the other gimmicky doodads Toyota added. Was there a competition among the designers to see who could add the most junk to one truck?

What happens if the MAX battery is kicked (fully depleted) during a drive...say from a long lug up a mountain or hard driving around hilly suburbia? Does the truck effectively revert to a non-MAX model until the battery recharges?

That's a good question for the engineers and might apply to any hybrid. I'm technically impaired but my understanding is that a typical hybrid runs on electric until depleted then the gas kicks in. Whereas here the battery supplements the i4. Does the battery need to be charged a certain amount before kicking back in? Does the braking charge the iforce Max battery? That would help too.

Just picked up my '23 dbl cab off-road premium with 6' bed. Might be the last of the magnetic gray for a while! I had my '16 for almost 8 years and wanted to upgrade before the turbos and higher costs rolled out. I got $1500 off MSRP as well.

No shit. What useful items are you planning on hanging in that little triangle space and why do you want those items outside of the bed space?
