I think the biggest thing is if the DNR thinks any areas that are currently closed can be re-opened and accepts some help. It's all their call.

It does seem that people have gotten better in the last 20-odd years in regards to trail riding. Still, there are some in the SxS community that seem to think that tearing sh!t up is (still) the whole point.

I would love to see the closed sections get reopened. It would be awesome If we could jump on at highway 64 and just cruise all the way up to bucks ranch road. But, if the bridges built 20 some years ago haven't done the job, I don't know what will.

Based on the shore fishing that I have done in the last 20 years, people are still trash. It sucks.

    Morning, Dennis.

Not sure how I got so far off track last night, so I'm sorry about that.

Let us know what you find out about the closed areas.

    This is what I said.

I don't know how somebody changed my post, but I don't like it very much.

Edit, oh, April fool's! The mods got me

I truly hope you reconsider. The fact of the matter is that most of us have opinions, but little practical experience. A guy like you could help us gain that type of experience.

Jesus, really?! Just walk away? Go back and re-read yesterday's mess. You and James were kinda arguing the same thing but past each other. It's great you got to talk to someone at the DNR. It would be great if the group could come together and help you make this happen. There are other groups that also helped the DNR with trail maintenance, etc along the pipeline.

I don't know you and until just recently hadn't seen you post around here. Was hoping to see another face at some of the weekend events. I think I speak for many here in saying I've met some really great people here and feel like I've known them for a lot longer than the past 9 or so months. Stick around, hit reset, and jump back in. Or not, your choice.

Dennis @Peeing on jeeps actually joined us on the first Pipeline camping trip. He took charge of the first recovery I've watched when @MKEMICA got into a tight spot on the rock garden bypass trail.

    Hopefully he'll return.

    Good to see you, Dennis!

A break from these forums now and again is probably a good idea!
