In my wife’s rav4 the hybrid battery seems to never go below a 1/3.

The hybrid battery supplements the ICU. If the hybrid battery gets low the ICU charges it.

With the Rav4 hybrid you can do full electric mode but limits you to very short distances and maybe 18mph.

All electric mode sounds good for moving the truck from the garage to the driveway (or vise versa) or moving it to another spot in a parking lot.

TBH it’s not necessary, if you use the throttle carefully you can pull away from a stop and get up to 20mph without the ICU operating.

Also in electric only mode if you hit the throttle too hard the ICU will kick in.

Meaning you can move the truck without the ICE simply by going easy on the throttle?

Maybe in Hawaiian pineapples, I think it’ll be closer to $57,995 but right now we are all just guessing.

Lol, Internal Combustion Unit, Internal Combustion Engine, tomato, tomahto… (you’re right though)

Yes, at least in the Rav4 the ICE doesn’t come on if you’re gentle with the throttle up to 18/20ish mph. It’s kinda fun to see how much mileage I can get out of it. On the flip side it gets 40mpg all day long no matter how hard you drive it :)

The current pro has an MSRP of $50,390 before tag, tax, delivery and dealer fees. You're easily getting into mid 50's right there.

Your estimate is at minimum 10k off I would say. There is zero comparison between the 4th gen Pro and the 3rd gen. Maybe better off comparing a 3rd gen pro to a 4th gen TRD OR for price
