I just built a fire in the wood stove because it feels like winter... It's 39 degrees outside. In late May.

Beautiful! The elevation would give me a headache though. Make sure you drink lots of water... And have fun!

I got a question for you. How is seeing out of 20% at night. Ive looked at so many different videos on window tint and everything just looks so different with how light or dark it is. I know I really just need to see it in person but whats your experience with it?

I posted this elsewhere last night-

From the "you see everything" department:

Coming in from my last pickup today, driving down a very busy 4 lane. Traffic is very heavy, about 4:45. The oncoming lanes are a mess as there is major construction behind me, made worse by a cop with someone in an SUV pulled over. I get up there, and until I was almost beside the SUV, I couldn't see but there's a scooter behind the SUV. OK, I'm thinking that the SUV cut off the scooter but no! Dude on the scooter is holding a rope. A rope that is tied to the hitch of the SUV...stupid bastard was being pulled down a busy-assed road (35 MPH speed limit, but almost nobody is under 45) by his buddy in an SUV.

Someone stop putting the stupid in the water, you've way over-done it.

I saw a meme the other night: It's time to remove all of the safety stickers and let Darwin get back to work.

    Stupid should hurt.

That's the problem, the lawyers have removed Darwin from the equation now stupid has to be someones fault so they can be sued or run thru the court system or both.

I don't mind it but I have pretty above average eyesight so it might not be fair to qualify my experience. Put it this way: I once owned one of the worst cars ever made, a Cadillac Catera, that the previous owner put limo tint on. Drove that sumbich for a couple years, definitely not safe to have that type of tint on your front windows. 20% by comparison is perfect for me. 20% still isn't enough to stop jackwagons with out-of-adjustment headlights or stupid bright bulbs from blinding me in the side view mirrors. And it looks pretty good in the daytime. To me personally 30-35% is just not dark enough to even be worth doing, I feel like I'm naked driving cars with that or no tint.

So... yesterday morning on the way to school the truck started making a strange new sound. It is really hard to describe, but at first I thought it was an electrical thing switching on and off but, it is more like a metalic scraping of very short duration now that it has been ongoing. It is intermittent, soft and then louder. It is directly behind the speedometer in the dash. Goes away with hard cornering and below 25mph. Driving me nuts... Any ideas before I tear into the dash????? Anything that spins back there???

That's definitely a strange one. No idea, but I'm curious what it ends up being.
