i believe that's the "sign finders" or whatever they call them (to light up highway road signs)

It looks like how i've adjusted mine. But there are more experienced members on here who may chime in. I had to end up adjusting mine to not blind cars coming the opposite way. I had to pull about 25' from a civic and make sure the cut off was below the drivers head, then i adjusted the passenger side to match.

Hey I just purchased a set of the Tacoma XB Gen 2 headlights with the white DRL…. I have a 2023 Tacoma SR…. I installed the headlights and everything is good to go except the DRLs are amber and not white when the headlight position is to auto. I don’t want amber DRLs, I want the white ones. Is there a way to fix this? Pleasehelp

reviving this thread....Anybody ever snap the tabs that connect the headlights to the actual truck? I have considered super gluing them back or have been recommended a plastic weld. Any other tips/ideas?

The high beams on my 2020 TRD OR seem to be fine but the low beams are terrible. Has anyone tried this kit?

Instal went pretty well. Only broke one fender flare clip! Having some minor gap/fitment issues. I'm going to try and solve it once the fender clips come in.

I just installed the Morimoto XB lights on my truck and I have two small issues. The lights overall work just fine. From the startup dance to the DRL's and the sequential turn signals, they work great.

Looking at the instructions, it says there should be 4 points at which each of the headlights can be adjusted, but each of the headlights only has 2, and 2 plugs where I'm guessing the "missing" adjustment points should be. Picture attached showing both points mentioned.

The other issue I have is with the roadside headlight, where the light hits the ground at the top, there's a bit of a dip in the light on the left side, picture is attached. I've attempted to use the 2 adjustment points on the headlight in attempt to fix this, but it doesn't seem to move at all. Any suggestions?

Purchased the Morimoto XB Gen 2 headlights WITH the Morimoto Harness for the DRL’s, for a 2020 Tacoma Off-Road with LED DRL’s.

Installed the lights but only the DRL’s worked, not the low or high beams. I bought the harness from Extreme Terrain (Item#
Morimoto LF530H-2) but I don’t think it’s the right harness since there were some plugs that didn’t quite match up with the headlights. Also, not sure if Morimoto’s instructions are accurate or if I have the wrong harness, or both.

Any help or guidance with this would be greatly appreciated.

Couldn't agree more as a fellow SR5 driver. Love mine. I also use fuse tap on inj fuse but I do run the amber drls and haven't had any issues with the resistors getting hot. But I also dont drive for long stretches, mostly just running errands around town. Also agree with the up light feedback, it is lacking but as someone who doesn't do long drives it doesn't bother me at all

Any of your guys DRL stopped working on the driver side? The led ring still works when the headlights are on for both white and amber. Checked the drl 10amp fuse and still intact. Checked the harness and everything is still plugged.

I’d contact morimoto, and get them to help you out.. they have a 5 year warranty and in my experience they reply fast so just shoot them an email on their website
