Just installed my new wheels. I never had rubbing before even with my spacers. I'm thinking about cutting/trimming all the plastic that could come in contact with the wheel. Anyone have any ideas or solutions?
    Specs: 2.5" lift
    Tires -265/70r17 Kenda klever r/t
    Wheels: black rhino
    Spacers: 1.25" spidertrax

When you say "wheels - black rhino", you've not given us enough information. Black rhino make 20+ 6 lug 17" 6x139.7 wheels. What width and offset?

I'm surprised you've managed to make 265s rub. Where are they rubbing? Why are you running spacers?

random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
Spacer and offset of your wheels is the problem.

I'm surprised too. No offset maybe? But like he's got a 2.5" lift.

Could it be the rim being 17" instead of 16"?

I ask because I plan on putting 265/75/16 on mine with stock suspension and lift and ive been told that's fine. If this guy has to cut plastic, I'd be surprised

Take the spacers off and you'll be fine.

No, it will be a wheel offset and spacer issue. I just didn't say it because he didn't tell us what the wheels are yet. ;) There's absolutely no reason he should be running a spacer on those wheels.

If we assume he's running the +0's of the rhinos, check out the visualization of his wheel compared to stock for an example as to what's going on:

I am not surprised. I am going to guess offset and spacers.
I am running SCS Ray10 with -10 offset wrapped with 265/70/17 on stock suspension and I rub at the body mount area where the bottom of the fender flare sits. When I turned the wheel to look at the area I barely clear that area so whenever I have the wheel slightly turned and flex the suspension it will rub. I took a dremel to the area and so far I haven't rubbed. I am sure once I start flexing more it'll rub.

I think he meant tire rub instead of wheel rub.

Like mentioned above, spacers is the issue.

The black rhinos in that size for that model wheel are either -18 offset or zero offset

OP, you need to understand offset but everyone’s right takeoff the spacers and you’ll be fine. If you bought the -18 offset version, which someone shouldn’t have sold you, you might have minor rub.

    None yet
Try a heat gun to the plastic form it out of the way ...cut bottom plastic of wheel fender ...really shouldn't have any issues with 265..probably is a offset /backspacing issue ...try without wheel spacers . .grab a heat gun n a beer . .scratch your head and use a few curse words ...should fix it

Your wheel tire combo is barely 32". You shouldn't be rubbing at all. Offset of the wheels along w/ the spacer is your problem.

Sorry was cutting the grass. Wheel rub is what I meant. Offset is 0. So if I remove the spacers I should be fine?

try it - what is the backspacing on the Rhino's, 4.5"? 4.5" backspacing and 0 offset should work given your tires are narrow enough to avoid the UCA's.
