Rear brake lines hooked up. I cut off the flares, put new fittings on and reflared them. The front half of lines are gx lines and I should have the clearance to move the gearbox cross member.

I'm loving the care and attention to this build. But at this point I'm wondering if it can be called a Tacoma anymore? Like, I wouldn't call a Tesla a Lotus, even though...

Irony is 99.999% of people will look at it and see a normal Tacoma.

Although to be fair, that is the point

Starting to work on tearing into the gas tanks. I plan on taking the fuel pump assemblies out, comparing the two and probably installing the Lexus one into the tacoma tank. Additionally I bought a URD fuel pump kit with a 320 LPH AEM pump, the fuel pump recall has not been done on the lexus. Somehow I don't think toyota will replace it if I bring them the fuel tank and drop it on their counter lol. I went with a high flow pump just in case a supercharger makes its way under the hood in the future.

Do the URD pump. The 460 uses the same pump as any 2010 FJ, 4runner, etc and will not be adequate for boosting.

I am hoping the bed clears but pretty much done with the left side body harness, with the exception of hanging the gas tank. Fuel pump and tank going in this weekend! I matched up all the correct functions to the Tacoma taillights. The GX has reverse lamps on the bumper whereas the Tacoma is all in one. Everything is plug and play now.
