    I have all that except the TB spacer. Yes, it helps it "breathe", but I would not say it is worth the cost. But won't hurt.

    I recently asked a 2nd gen guy to describe how the tune made his truck better.
    Here is what he said:

    "I can sum it up by saying that the powerband comes on early and pulls through the shifts past 90. The 4.0 is a beast! Since the shift points are also extended it really can leverage the "pull" in each gear without falling flat. I would like to try it towing sometime as it would be a beast. On the flip side if you are a conservative driver it stays well-mannered until you give it the beans."

    Based on what customers tell us and reviews, it will help it as long as you drive it the same way as you did before the tune.
    Most people report 1-2mpg gains, but we don't guarantee it.

    Tim brough me his 2018 Tacoma with 3.5L engine and M/T today wanting a little more pep out of it. He was using a pedal command type device, and while that was helping with the throttle response, it was not a complete solution. I tuned him right the KDMax Pro Sport throttle setting and had him drive it. That just wasn't enough for him, so the KDMax Pro team spun up a custom tune with additional throttle response at his request. After adding another 30% to the tip-in, he was pleased with the outcome!     Stories like this are what keeps me with KD tunes. There are other sevices. The tunes may be as good, but I can't imagine the customer sevice is half as good.

    The KDMax normal tune is awesome! I felt a huge difference in response from my automatic 2020 Tacoma. The gear hunting is gone and the truck holds a gear longer both in regular driving conditions and in cruise control. I can easily pass people on the highway again even though I have a bed rack, roof top tent, bed drawers, and other added weight mods. I would even say the truck performs better now than the day I got it stock. I have also been averaging 1.5 - 2 mpg increase so far. I went to @JDSmith in Essex Junction, Vermont and would highly recommend to anyone else in the New England area! He is super friendly and helpful in explaining the whole process and let me try out the lite tune first, test drive it significantly, and then switched me to the normal tune after I decided that I wanted a little more power.
