You don't need it. They are self cleaning. If it makes you feel better, run some Lucas injector cleaner in a tank once awhile. I run a bottle every few months in all my vehicles and equipment.

 

Had mine done at 60t miles together with spark plug change and at fluid change . This is how it’s done . I’ll have them do it again at 120t miles

BG44K, Techron, in your tank and go from there.

 

I do once a year, maybe less-ish. But I don’t rack up miles

 

so 300$ @ 60k as preventive medicine?

i use either shell or mobil top tier gas and drive about 8200 miles a year (four + years and 35,200 miles) 2019 4x4 AC

i guess i don't know the difference between injection nozzles and induction system either!

You don't need it if you use good fuel. Keep in mind whatever is pumped in comes out the tailpipe as smelly white smoke. Use too much (or too frequently) and you risk poisoning the catalytic converters.

 

when i was a Saab-o-holic, i would use Howe's fuel conditioner every oil change (3k - dino- this was the '80s).

the dealer cautioned using anything too frequently, citing deterioration of (rubber) seals.
