And just think: they race up that road! It's only a couple of years ago that it was even paved!

No joy on finding my mystery noise. Looked in the engine compartment and the fire wall, under the cab and in the cab. Now, I am guess I am going to have to take the dash apart and see whats what... Thanks for all the suggestions so far.

Got it on! Love that I can fold the sides up. This is a much better setup for the dogs than having them get hair all over the interior.

I concur, the black/tan combo is quite sharp.

Anyone in the WI crew that is going to Bearpaw in June live out by the Twin Cities? I can’t recall if anyone is out that way, looking for possible TWExpress connection. TIA

I just sold my hatch ladder to a guy in St Paul a few weeks ago.

I'm not sure if I'll hook up with the WI TW crew that weekend or not ! Suppose to be 4 wheeling with my kids that weekend west of the Pipeline. But I am around a hour out of the Twin Cities and just North of Menomoie WI. 3 hrs from Pipeline.

How far will you be from Crandon? I could use an excuse to stop at Liquor Lode on my way home on Sunday. :D

I'll be off Hwy 64 near Elton WI. Is what the plan is. Edit : Boys in Kentucky at the moment doing install ! So if he doesn't make it back to God's Country in time things are subject to change.

Took my friend who is a trained Toyota mechanic for a ride today. The mystery noise has him stumped-suggested looking behind the cluster...

Today's excursion took us to Royal Gorge and Bishops Castle. I liked the castle way better than the gorge.20230526_142007.jpg 20230526_142355.jpg 20230526_143706.jpg 20230526_110854.jpg

Well, about 2:30 this afternoon, I've finished the pickups that dispatch has given me. Give him a call and he's all: umm, ahh, well... Then he says:start heading this way, if something pops up, I'll let you know. So, I take my afternoon 15 min. break and as I'm heading back to the terminal, I get a message: stick a fork in it, nothing else to do. Have a nice weekend.

Had the bike at work today, so I took the long way home (132 miles vs 22). As I'm getting home, I see the time. Hey, I'll bet I can setup and get most, if not all of the remaining welding done. That way, I can concentrate on sandblasting and painting tomorrow and Sunday. Maybe I'll have time to wire up my solar panel and power station yet this weekend. That gives me next weekend to mount the sliders and tie up loose ends on the power install.

A little bit of touch-up with the flapper-wheel and on to sandblasting!

Some of the welds aren't too pretty, had some bad gaps to fill and the breeze blew my shielding gas a few times. They'll be strong enough, I'm sure.
