I'll post a link of his videos next time I see him.

I never ask about it since it ain't my thing but we do end up talking MMA since a lot of guys that do that are MMA fighters, former military, etc. and we're both into MMA. You'll see a lot of technical take-downs during their brawls.

I've been wanting to build something similar but for mt tattoo artist friend. Wa t to make him an arm rest with the rotors off of my car that I've been saving to use as the base.

Sick!! That’ll be really cool. I’ve seen people make end tables with rotors and stuff. Love the look

Drums from a semi; those are hefty as hell and would provide awesome support

Had a friend that found me one but ultimately decided on a spare steel wheel instead

I'm gonna use the rotors off my daily. They're pretty big and got some weight to em.

Was in the market for a plasma cutter. Found a prime weld plasma cutter from a guy whose sells open box stuff. It was a prime weld CUT50dp for 250$ and comes with a one year warranty.

Does anyone recommend this manufacturer? Still trying to find more information on this guys business to confirm it’s legit but I wanted to see what some people had to say about the plasma cutter itself.

I have no info on that model specifically or their plasma cutters, but can recommend the manufacturer. Between my shop and my teaching gig, I have access to 180-ish (primeweld, everlast, miller, lincoln, thermal arc, thermaldyn) welding machines and the primeweld 225ext is pretty impressive for its price point and their customer service has been stellar.

If it works when you get it home, it's gonna work for quite some time. If you are running a plasma CNC table, it's still a good deal if it craps out in 2 years. You will have made enough money to upgrade.

In short, if it works, $250 is a steal. It may use some bastard size consumables, so I'd check to see if what it uses is readily available.

I have no experience with that specific model, but can say the seller's warranty won't matter.

PrimeWeld will come through and cover any issues you have for a good while. Just get the serial number in an inquiry and hit up Gene or Dustin via phone (you won't get any automated machine or an outsourced call to India).
