That picture / campsite was on Pilgrim Creek Rd, right off #191, just near the southern entrance to the Park on #191. So, looks like maybe 30ish miles northwest of Togwotee.

    Good Morning

The Mariners pulled off the win last night when the A’s pitcher loaded the bases and then walked the winning run home. Still in a food coma after the double smoked sausage dog with everything and garlic fries.

    Good Morning all :hattip:

We had a wee bit of frost on the ground this morning.
Weatherman says sunny and warm all weekend.
I can't remember a Memorial Day weekend that didn't have rain or snow in it.

Was 42 degrees here around 5:30 this morning. At least the grass won't grow much under those conditions.

We tried to get on skyline there a couple months back but there were trees down and they closed the entrance. The wife and onyx and I ended up hiking a little of the Dickey ridge trail instead.

Same here. I’m up and getting coffee then on the road. Gates open at camp at 8am and I should be there by 930

normally I would agree with you on the get further out there comments but the last few years have been insane. Dispersed camping is way overcrowded and I’ve gone to more campgrounds as a way of crowd control. At least here there is a limit on vehicle per site and rules and a host. Dispersed is such a wildcard and with no rules and no one to intervene so it can be a nightmare. I generally won’t confront people since I’m solo most of the time.
is the generator annoying? Yes. But so is being invaded by 4 huge rigs, 20 people, 10 dogs, 4 generators, 10 ATVs, and inflatable movie screen. And yes, that’s happened.
