Looks awesome! Are you a bit early for tailgating? :p

I'm jelly I don't have that 3rd brake light cutout on the front panel.

I don't think there was ever an issue with the locks not being secure, rather people (including myself) have issues with it stuck/non-operable for opening in freezing temps. The covers are supposed to help, but they didn't help much for me.

@StinkFu had the window issue with the latest window design, i believe he could open it by pushing firmly on the window from the outside.

@Kowalski - You can get those covers from Mike's Custom Toys, or RSI but note that each has a different look to them, but I believe the ones you're asking about is from Mike, as i have the same ones.

Lets start with how upset us Vendors are as well. We lose more than we make on Smartcaps right now. Not one single timeline has been met. All Tacoma cap production got moved to the US plant in Nov. regardless of where your order is on the Backorder list 6ft caps have not been made or shipped yet. However the speed that they were able to get Sport 5fts shipped out to us was very encouraging. I hope the rest of the Tacoma caps come out and fulfil backorders just as quick. We will have extra as soon as they are made, and we have extra 5ft Sports now. I just don't know exactly late June or early July. They had some updates to do on the new latches after having some out in the wild. I was able to check one out this last weekend, you guys will be happy.

Really liking the new cap/bed rail mounts. The older style bolt/washer to bed cleat works but my cap was slightly bowed/bent down with the original hardware not even close to factory tq specs.

I wonder if there is any cross compatibility with OG EvoA caps. I recall similar mounts coming with the Jeep Gladiator caps.

5ft EvoA is around 180ish lbs, I’d imagine the glass to be a bit heavier but not far off.

Thanks for responding @Mike's Custom Toys, it sounds like there is some good stuff coming from them. When Smartcap is up and fully functional I hope you can make up any losses and more. I'm sure I can speak for everyone on this thread when I say your insight on this product is much appreciated.

I decided to call around and see if I could get a regular cap for some trip in June, by sheer luck theres another dealer 30 min from me with a 6' Evoa. Its not the Evo sport I originally ordered, and it will be their 2nd version (made in SA, not TX) but with the modular design I'm optimistic that once theyre done playing catch up I will be able to switch at least one of the side doors for a glass version. I spoke with someone at Smartcap and they confirmed this is the goal for next year, also that locks are being redesigned still and should be out later this year.

I ordered a security screen for the back window of my Smartcap back in early January. Looks like they’ll be coming in soon as the Evo C model has become available. Fingers crossed!!

So I've had my long bed adventure series for a year and now looking to put either a rack or bars on it. I plan to use them to carry my kayaks and potentially install a 270° awning. Leaning towards bars just to cut down on weight.

What rack/bars and kayak mounts would you all recommend getting? ('16 DCLB)

If you can’t find the RSI load bars (in stock). The Frontrunner load bars work as well.

Your rig looks pretty rad, I will have similar looking rig when my EvoA finally shows up.

A few questions if you don't mind:
What rear bumper do you have mounted?
What wheel offset did you go with?
