Heck you could drive it now, it's a hoot. Getting on the highway isn't even a thought of if you can make it up to speed on the 35s with 4.10s, it just makes noises and gets there fast.

I'm still not sure what that's supposed to do, but I can tell you those balls can't absorb enough energy to be any better than the tinfoil bumper is at protecting the rear. Also it was a waste of a nice piece of wood. That thing should not have a 2" receiver in it for sure though, 4 small bolts in shear aren't a safe trailer carrying mechanism.

You gonna stay with the 4.10s? Afaik factory 4.10s are the strongest 8" gear set. A lot of the old time yota guys with dual/triple cases used to hoard them lol

That's awesome though, all that works sounds like it's paying off super well :D :burnrubber:

Nah, the 4.56 are still going in, just a little load reduction will improve MPG a ton and make it all around easier on the engine (though it probably doesn't need it so much anymore)

All yesterday I thought I had some sort of stomach ache or intestinal thing going on but it turns out it was just a muscle I never knew was there. Not one of the core muscles used regularly I guess.

I broke my foot years ago jumping a wall wearing flip flops...it was weird, I didn't land in a bad way or anything but it was just enough impact without cushion that it fractured my foot. Had to wear a "moon boot" cast like that for a couple months. Driving manual with one of those was a learning experience to say the least

Oof that sucks. Glad you’re still around.

Definitely read that as “braked so hard I snapped my leg” the first few times..
