Out with the old 18 and in with 23 & $219 for dealer installer edge guards

It seems to be a regular occurance shopping these days - just varying degrees of pain. The Port put bed lights and all season floor mats for many $ as well. Arrogence and a get what we can mentality, makes for an interesting customer experience.

Yep, thats exactly what i did. Somebody is going to get a good, well taken care of rig.

 

Bed Led Lights,

How can someone install the bed lights if they have a 2019 Tacoma SR5 , he has no pocket holes, he can cut them but there is no extra wire behind the tail light, can it be done? if so do you need a special wiring harness or need to run wires from somewhere
?

 

Idk about the 2019 sr5. When I ordered my 2020 sr5 in jan. that year, I asked to have bed lights. The dealer told me it will come with them. I guess it was part of a tech package I wanted that they were included. Originally I was looking at 2019 leftovers on the lot, but was pushed by 3 different dealers that the 2020 was what I should get after discussing what I wanted.

 

My friend found a kit on line to install them, they basically turn on when you turn the exterior cab lights like ours do now.,
