I ran the license plate through Carfax, and it came back to a 1981 Fiat Strata (which I've never heard of); I looked up "1981 Fiat Strata" online and the car in the pictures that came up sorta looked like a Yugo, but the Yugo first debuted stateside in like 1984. This is obviously a US-spec Yugo, and I'm pretty sure it's from the late 1980s...

 

Have to be up there with the worst cars ever sold in this country. I want one.

Incorrect tires? They're round and they're black......look correct to me.

Did you realize the Rolls Royce club of America has it's HQ in Mechanicsburg, PA? Not too far from the Carlisle fairgrounds. Later this summer I need to ride out to the Bedford area to visit a friend of mine. He has 2 Rolls Royces currently, one running the other a restoration project. He also has roughly 10 older Royal Enfield motorcycles.

 

Seems appropriate...

 

There are certain brands of tire that you do not put on a Rolls-Royce, and if you look closely at this car, it appears that there is something wrong with the suspension. Even worse is when idiots put radial tires on older postwar Rolls-Royce and Bentley motorcars that were intended to have bias-ply tires...

From a distance, I thought that this was a modified Kia Amanti. It is actually a 2002 Lancia Thesis, that technically will not be legal in the USA until 2027. The loophole in Canada is 15 years instead of 25, and this car was first brought into Canada. The current owner bought it in Canada, then drove it across the border into Washington where he was able to get it titled and registered; I still have no idea how he was able to get it through customs, but his attitude was "I pay my taxes, so the government really has no right to tell me what kind of car I can have". Needless to say, I like the way he thinks.

Might have titled it as a Kia (which is quite illegal).

 

I think they are just a lot more lax in Washington than some other states, especially since Washington doesn't have emissions testing or safety inspections. There was a guy at the Carlisle Import Nationals last year who managed to get a 2006 Citroen into the US and register it in New York as a 1995 Citroen...
