The old systems were nothing more the hundreds of feet of black tubing that recirculated the pool’s water, modern version has greatly improved.

I think it is not popular because the sun works pretty damn well and it is free. My pool is good from late April until early September.

Back on topic...I am surprised not many complaints about colors? No cavalry blue or cement or lunar rock?

Solar covers work better, cheaper and far less complex, coupled with a heat pump works great for extending into the shoulder seasons.

Yeah, colors are kinda blah, like that new wet cement or whatever they are calling it on the Prerunner. Would like to see the return of Blazing Blue Pearl and Quicksand. Wish I got Quicksand instead of Mag Grey, would hide dirt better.

It's been proven there's more energy in gasoline than electricity when you break down all the numbers and do the math. Kilowatt to gallons, to joules. I can't recall the formula, and I'm not a mathematician, or scientist that studies energy.

That's why you never hear how an EV vehicle is more efficient than an ICE vehicle, as a selling point of an EV. It's much more effective to use easily proven facts, to sell a product. Instead of convoluted gibberish, where the facts and science have to be massaged around the narative.

There's no place on earth that can provide the proff that EV decreases pollution.

Where has EV usage increased and pollution rates decreased?

I wonder if the digital gauge cluster will be user-configurable...the option to show boost pressure, for example.

    Just guess:
PRO will be $52k USD, before add sway bar disconnect , other features
TH will be 50, but added features sway bar disconnect, sport bar, air tank, roof rack take it up to about $57 USD

I don't think I could find a 3rd gen Pro for under 55k, I never spoke to anybody about what the mark up would have been on the 50k sticker price. Probably over 5k though.

Base 4G Pro is going to be right at 60k, and Toyota isn't building any Pros with out sway bar disconnect, and ISO dynamic seats those two features are probably close to 5k.

Lol, not sure where you get you info from.

It’s all a conspiracy, that’s why auto manufacturers are transitioning to electrified cars, they pollute more

Incredibly difficult to duplicate the energy stored in petroleum, millions upon millions of years in the making, and we have been tryin for the last 124 years, 2000ish if you include the Baghdad Battery.

While my gas yard tools can run for hours, and the battery ones are good for around 15-20 minutes of total run time, prefer the battery ones, low noise, no fumes to suck. Have yet to have a battery die in the middle of doing yard work, guess I am pretty quick about it. Musk is right, most people don’t need 400 miles of range. Imagine when most vehicles convert to EV, the heavily populated area’s air will be like when they banned cigarettes in public places, easier to breathe, clearer, and smell a heck of a lot better. Lots of diesel trucks where we live, I get fumed out often following them. Emissions are easier to control coming from a few energy producing sources rather than millions upon millions of vehicles running around.

There still are a few establishments here that allow cigarettes indoors, occasionally have walked into a place then immediately turned around.

When the majority of everything shutdown during the lockdown, not sure if you watched the pollution map, emissions plummeted. Same will happen when EVs go main stream. Will it be perfect? That would be a no. It will be better though at least for the atmosphere.

Nope. 0% chance the 4G Pro will be $52k.

Wow, I’m so behind on car price, was thinking Tundra PRO was $59K, it’s $69K. Wow $60K Tocoma blows me away, not saying right or wrong, Just my mind is stuck in car prices 10-15 years ago, even after buy 21Taco Off road for $37k.

Shoot my lowly SR was $39K OTD, did a couple add-ons and an extended warranty, just don’t trust new Toyotas like the old ones, plus these are more expensive to fix.

The Tundra pro is $71k before destination.

    edit: about 73k with destination.

People that think the 2024 Tacoma Pro will be around 50k are in for quite the shock.

The Tundra increased the Pro by $17k USD with the new generation. I don't imagine the Tacoma will increase by that much but I can bet it will be more and less than people think. I'm thinking ~$55k (to compete with the Ranger Raptor).

I still think a Pro could "start" in the mid 50's somewhere, but most as equipped will be in the very high 50k to mid 60k range.
