Looks like your truck was built and assigned a VIN because that temp serial doesn’t bring anything up.

 

@Taco1125 Interesting. Mine has had a lot of activity on the Toyota app today. In fact at one time I thought it might be at the dealer. The gas tank has been partially filled (the normal 4 gallons), the mileage increased and the doors have been opened a lot. I am 100% convinced it was unloaded in Houston yesterday morning, has had all the distributor items installed, and should now be ready for delivery to the dealer. Remember, though, they have a tremendous number of Tacos at the GST facility now, so it might take a few days to get through all of them. Still, I would expect you to see activity on the Toyota app at this point.
It was interesting to see a lot of new vehicles at the dealer today. They have quite a bit more than they had on Wednesday. But then this is the BIG sale weekend. Good luck with your efforts in that regard, @DragonPro23! I know you will be busy.
There are a number of things to be added to my Taco at the dealer, so I now expect it on Tuesday. Mind you, the end of the month is Wednesday, and there is a big push at all levels to get as many vehicles out as possible by then so the sales will count on _this_ months books. Don't hold you breath (like I've been doing), but your Tacomas will be here soon!

 

@FBHam Yeah i haven't even looked at the Toyota App. I'm assuming you have to enroll in connected services to see all the activity on your Tacoma? I haven't enrolled in it yet, but i might today. Honestly, i've been trying to keep my mind off it so i don't lose my patience lol. I'm hoping maybe by the end of next week we get the call from the dealer. @DragonPro23 Thanks for the update!

Just looked at mine and per Toyota-tracker.com the update message has disappeared and looks like it may be delivered May 30 to June 2. Will check with dealer today. Was in 30 day hold in Kansas city that started May 19th ish.

 

What is the 30 day hold? I was supposed to get my new SR5 last week and then dealership called and said it had been pulled for freight allocation, he went on to explain it was some kind of quality control step. Had been tracking it on the Toyota-tracker.com website and the message changed from to be delivered May 20 - 24 to status unknown. I just checked when typing in this thread and it say May 28 - June 2, which is a suprise to me as have not heard anything from dealership.

 

Just got confirmation from dealer that the truck shows it has been released should be at dealer may 30 to June 2.

 

That is what surprised me. Mine had the same thing happen. Reached out to sales rep today and he confirmed it has been released and should have it in the next few days.

 

Guess I will be reaching out to the dealer today, lol.
