Any Smokeless tobacco users?

I get it either way.
Cigs ar e a nono at work as well as dipping.
Dipping gives me serious heartburn.

Geez that sounds like it sucks, i guess its a way to cut back on your consumption, or you just get good at sneaking it around haha.

I see nothing haha, it sucks because we make bottled water at work, and anytime you are in the plant you cant dip (of course) lucky for me i am rarely in the plant.

 

Well, there not supposed to have half nekid hookers washing police cruisers in moncks corner but hey... guess what!!

 

I switched to skoal snus about 3 weeks ago. I still carry it like real dip in the bottom lip. I like it but, I still crave some cope when i see it.

 

i chewed and smoked for many years... I haven't chewed Copenhagen in about 10 years and i haven't smoked in 3 years

 

i dip whatever is cheaper as long as it is strait. usually something like longhorn,$1.49. copenhagen give me cotton mouth and wintergreen give me heartburn, plus cope is like $5.25, screw that!!

I'm on day 8 of trying to quit. I'm still craving Skoal, but the cravings are starting to let up. One of the reasons for me quitting is the expense. Skoal long cut straight averages about $5+ a can here in the DFW area. I dont really care for the cheaper brands, so they are not really an option for me.

i know its not much, but Im trying to quit. 5 days down. I have been doing it for 15 years. Getting easier every day.

 

Im on day 8 no dip. Been dipping for 10 years. My buddy told me to try substituting with uncooked rice or uncooked grits. Sounds crazy but it def worked for me.

 

i have been chewing on gum. never heard about the rice thing. may have to try that too. thanks!

 

you could also use jerky. chew it up until it is the consistency of a dip then put it in your lip where a dip would go. you get flavor and the felling that something is there instead of an empty space. i did that with homemade deer jerky and it worked really well
